Intel RST AHCI driver installation issues!

Hello!!! I recently joined... I seem to be having some issues with correctly installing Intel RSTe drivers on my notebook... First of here are my Specs:

Asus K55A Notebook

Intel Core i3-3110M

Intel HM76

Intel 7 Series/C216 Chipset

HD 4000 iGPU

8 GB DDR3 (2x 4 GB) 1600 MHz

Samsung 840 SSD 250 GB (AHCI Enabled in BIOS)

Windows 8.1 Pro (x64) UEFI Install

I recently clean installed Win 8.1 and used Intel RSTe v13 BETA drivers by way of F6 method... Which was causing me a bunch of issues in general... Although Aida64 and HWiNFO64 detected my SSD running active UDMA Mode 6. Which is the max supported btw... I opted to install a different IRST driver set for stability... Now, the Asus OEM IRST drivers that were installed on the original HDD with Win8 are v11.5.0.1207... Which I actually haven't tried using yet... But I have gone thru IRST v12.9.0.1001... v12.8.6.1000... v12.8..0.1016... v12.5.0.1066... ALL of these lower my SSD to UDMA 5 and thru benchmarks lower performance... I currently have installed IRST v11.7.4.1001... Which are working fine... But after 1 day I am at UDMA 5 again when after installing these v11.7.4.1001 I was at UDMA 6... Weird... Also I noticed that no matter which I install, the iaStorF.sys file doesn't get installed!!! BTW I chose not to install the IRST Software Package... Only the drivers by way of Device Manager... Am I missing something?? I don't understand what I'm doing wrong here... Also, in Device Manager I see IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers with Intel 7 Series Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller and also Storage Controllers... with Microsoft Storage Spaces Controller under that one.... I am kinda stumped here... I would appreciate any and all guidance with this and to correctly install my drivers... THX!!
