Re: After Much BIOS Pain, what now?

Somebody is going to pay dearly for this issue if this CPU is NOT compatiable with my DP67BG board

AA REV G10491-307

I have spent over $500.00 on a build that is  / was going to use a brand new 3770K CPU in a DP67BG motherboard. I did my home work and checked the

iNTEL site for compatibility, and saw that is was, in several places. One being here ....

AA Rev                Min. BIOS                  Specs

G10491-307        2161                    SR0PL

Another being here

http://processormatch.intel.com/Processors/CompatibleProcessors?componentName=DP67BG

Spec #                Min. BIOS                    AA Rev(s)

SR0DG               1569                        G10491-307

Now I am reading this in a tucked away story from somebody named Diego ?

The motherboard's AA number should be at least G10491-400

If you motherboard has a lower AA number it would not be capable for third generation Intel(R) Core(TM) processors.

You can confirm this information on this article:

Desktop Boards | Updating the BIOS to support 3rd Generation Intel(R) Core(TM) Processors

What kind of total BS is this Intel ? I want Intel to take care of this ISSUE!
