Hello
I have seen for some time the ability to share GPUs on video cards in single system setups.
Having more than one computer here, I was wondering when a port is going to be put on Motherboards that can daisy chain connect multiple systems together for more cpu rendering and memory usage capabilities....
Does this need addressing on the cpu?...or just on the main Motherboards themselves?
I know it can be done with rj45 cat5 or 6, I believe, and all systems booted into OS, but it is network based.
I was thinking more of something direct to the motherboard, no os running on secondary slaved systems connected via some form of cable or even wifi... Just the hardware of the slaved systems are used....
If I am missing something in technology that already does this, could someone please let me know.
Thanks
Sir Les
