Slatye, I was able to determine the voltage level translator used on the Sparkfun micro SD block. I zoomed in on the image and found the marking 5MR which matches the TI TXB0108 (http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/txb0108.pdf). Note that it is the TXB0108 not the TXS0108. Just thought I would post my findings.
