Now here's a weird thing - I figured I'd be courageous today and installed the beta drivers. After installation, my PC booted to 1980x2160 at 60Hz. I could then select 3840x2160 from the control panel:Image may be NSFW.

As you can see, it's at 60Hz (and there's no additional refresh rate available). And in terms of resolutions this is what is listed.Image may be NSFW.

Note: There's one supported resolution missing: 2560x1440 (at 60Hz.. the display does this fine in Linux using an nVidia card).I've yet to test FHD (another resolution that's problematic on nVidia on Windows).
Also interesting, is that this is the first driver to actually recognize that this is one display - so there's no need to operate in collage mode. In fact, in the multiple display screen it only shows one single display.Image may be NSFW.

So here's my take: Add 2560x1440 and we have something to work with.
@KlasBell: Do you have a REV A00 screen? If so, have them swap it out (it's a PITA.. they'll try to get you to keep the old, even send you a couple other A00 if you're unlucky.. and you probably only get a refurb).
My A00 screen did act differently with the drivers prior to the ones from this thread - in fact I managed to get collage mode working in the proper order with the latest public drivers from June on the A00 screen, and now with the A01 this is what happens: https://communities.intel.com/thread/54165?sr=inbox
