I understand that you are not able to setup the Intel® Optane™ Memory. I have also noticed that you are using the driver 16.0.2.1086. The current driver available is the 15.9.0.1015. The reason of this downgrade is because the driver is currently down for maintenance to enable installer changes. We hope to have the updated driver (16.x) available soon.
However, the versions that were available before were the 16.5 and 16.7 which were even newer than the one you are using. My recommendation would be to wait for the updated driver to be posted before trying to setup the module.
I would recommend you to use the available one (15.9), but this version doesn’t support secondary drive acceleration, since this feature was introduced in the 16.x versions.
It may be possible that the driver version 16.0 is not full compatible with the latest processors models. However, if you were able to install the driver and the application, it means that the CPU is recognized as supported, otherwise you would have always gotten the message of CPU not supported and you would have not been able to install the application.
Regarding to the not compatible drive message, it may be possible that the secondary drive must be low-level formatted first. I’ve seen some cases where the root cause of the issue is that the secondary drive had to be formatted (low-level format) before setting up the module. It may be also possible that the module itself has to be cleaned too.
However, and as I mentioned above, the updated driver will be available soon, so my recommendation is to wait until the driver is uploaded. You can check the following site to see when the driver is uploaded: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/99745/Intel-Optane-Memory
