OK, I did 'shrink volume' on the mechanical drive by 500MB. Then by 10GB. There still are no drives at all listed on the 'performance' tab. Are the instructions outdated? Is the function moved somewhere else in the current version?
These are the instructions in the help:
"Follow these steps to accelerate a disk or volume:
Click ‘Performance’, and then click ‘Select device’ in the Intel® Smart Response Technology page."
However, the 'Performance' tab does not contain 'Select Device'. It is some text about link power management.
I have a Clevo W650SR with a mobile HM86 chipset. Ark.intel says that this chipset supports Intel Rapid Storage. Is that incorrect?
