Hello-
I have a new Lenovo Yoga which was downgraded from WIN8.1 to Win7Pro, and I have the same "freeze after 10 seconds" problem. Audio and cursor movements are fine. It is interesting that the image will unfreeze for another 10 seconds if I rotate the tablet and change display orientation. Not too useful in real life though.
After MANY hours of mucking through forums, installing this software and that driver, uninstalling, re-installing, etc it is clear that the problem is commonplace with Win7 users and is associated with the computer (not the TV/WiDi receiver). It would appear to be an Intel problem. Thanks to these forums Intel is clearly aware of the problem.
I am looking for Intel to tell us all that either:
a) This is a know problem and we are actively addressing it (or better yet, here is the fix!)
b) You are out of luck. Go purchase a Nyrius ARIES Digital Wireless HDMI Transmitter & Receiver System
Respectfully,
Rich
