i just defined a board on the boards.txt file for each of the Arduinos that I have, Galileo1, Galileo2, Edison2, etc...
I modified the platform.txt file to pass as a third argument the name of the board that it matches the hostname on my /etc/hosts file, that way I can use the same script for all the boards and I keep the original one, just in case I need to run some debugging.
i hope that someday Intel will implement a solution like this on the Oficial IDE
i hate the zmodem implementation, it is buggy, unreliable and prone of errors.
