Connectivity Issues with 7260 AC

My Setup:

3 laptops:

  * Galgo UltraPro running Arch Linux

    * Intel Corporation Wireless 7260 (rev 73)

    * Firmware: 23.10.10.0

  * Galgo UltraPro running Ubuntu 14.04

    * Intel Corporation Wireless 7260 (rev 73)

    * Firmware: 22.24.8.0

  * Lenovo X1 Carbon (Gen 1) running Arch Linux

    * Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205

    * Firmware: 18.168.6.1

2 Access Points:

  * MikroTik RB2011 Router with WiFi

    * Support 2.4Ghz b/g/n

  * Asus RT-AC68U

    * Supports 2.4 and 5Ghz AC

All three laptops are sitting within 10 feet of the Access Points

Issue:

  I use the Galgo UltraPro equpped with the 7260 Wireless card running Arch as my primary machine.  Almost daily this laptop will lose connection with AP and with varying success will reestabish connections.  This occurs with any AP I am connected to but does seem to worsen as the distance between the AP and laptop increases.  At home, I have many devices connected to the APs and none of them have this issue.  To be thourough I used a second UltraPro running Ubuntu 14.04 to test the issue I was having.  This laptop also has the same problems.  I have seen many forums riddled with complaints about the Intel 7260 and am hoping that the more information provided and more attention the issues receive the more likley it iwll be that Intel corrects the issue.

Observations:

  * Ping times will increase into the 1000's regularly.

  * Pings will drop

  * Ping times are constantly higher than the 6205 or any other wireless connected device

  * iwconfig reports very low Bitrate (however actual file transfer seem to occur at expected speeds).

  * driver/firmware crashes in dmesg

Examples:

  * Driver Crash:

  * Gaps in ICMP sequence (seq 53-56 dropped):

    I know this seems minor...ICMP drops aren't unusal, however, this happens constantly and only on hardware with the 7260.
