I have also bought the same NUC DN2820FYK and I am getting the exact same problem as everyone else. The IR light does nothing, but current drivers are installed and the device says it's working in device manager. I've got the latest BIOS. I ran SHOWKEY and no keystrokes are registered when my RC6 remote buttons are pressed. Using a camera I can confirm the remote is working. I've got XBMC installed with appropriate addons for MCE remote to work, but the remote doesn't work there either.
There's been SOOO many frustrations with the setup of this NUC! Is there any movement on a resolution for this problem?
