Hey Kurt, Thanks for the reply... I see that your Edison seems to be running the code just fine. Mine also writes out the 0x55 to the MOSI port but the problem seems to be the SPI clock signal on DIO-13.
In image #2, you can see that there is another signal superimposed on the DIO-13 line..
I am wondering if I have the hardware configured in a conflicting manner regarding the GPIO...
Here's an image of the jumpers that I currently have set. can you check you jumper settings to see if they are the same?
