Hi I have no problem with my Mac, it works instantly. My problem was with the Gigabyte MB using the Intel HD4600. Anyway its been fixed now, I used intel's drivers which is why it doesn't work.
I had to go find the gigabyte driver. buy a HDMI 1.4 to D-DVI cable to make it work.
