I recently built a new system featuring a H97 board. I reused my old trusty Samsung F4 HD204UI drive from the old system. After installing the latest RST 13.1.0.1058 driver, the drive started to 'click' when accessing the disk.
Like other user have already reported, the 13.x version enables Advance Power Management which increases the Load Cycle Count.
Apart from the annoying clicking sound coming from the drive, it is also degrading the drive!
Intel, please fix this as soon as possible.
