Hi all,
The Intel Galileo datasheet (http://dlnmh9ip6v2uc.cloudfront.net/datasheets/Dev/Arduino/Boards/Galileo_Datasheet_329681_003.pdf) states:
"Each of the 6 analog inputs [...] By default [...] measure[s] from ground to 5 volts".
The AD7298 analog-to-digital (A/D) converter datasheet (http://www.analog.com/static/imported-files/data_sheets/AD7298.pdf) states:
that it has:
"Internal 2.5V reference"
"Analog input range: 0V to 2.5V"
How can the AD7298 handle 5V inputs then? Am I permanently damaging the Galileo?
