i have the AC7260 and have been experiencing intermittent lag spikes. i tried what you guys did with only using 5ghz and it has not worked. i even limited the router as only N and changed to HT mode. My signal strength is very good (-33db). Probably also persists on 2.4ghz only.
i hope this eventually is solved.
