RAID failure on S1200BTL in R1304 chassis

I have an Intel R1304BTLSFAN chassis that came with an Intel S1200BTL server board installed.  It has 4 WD RE3 250GB HDDs installed in a RAID 10 array using the embedded ESR utility.  Everything was fine until today when I rebooted the system.  It gave an error on the drive on PORT2 and showed the RAID status as degraded.

I halted the boot and removed the drive for testing using WD drive utility.  It came back with no errors, so I reinserted and attempted to boot.  No Joy.  So, I installed the only replacement drive I have on hand which is an RE4 500GB drive.  In the RAID configuration utility, I was presented with an option to add the new drive to the array to rebuild.  I did.  I was able to boot to the OS and login.

Then the system rebooted and showed a failed drive on PORT3 and a FAILED RAID array.  With both ports 2 & 3 disconnected, It shows a failed array but two good discs.  I find it hard to believe that 2/3 and 4/5 are the mirrored pairs, but HELP because I need this server up and running ASAP.

What happens if I mark the drives to non-raid?  What happens if I choose to use only the master?  Anyone want to guide me through this?

thanks so much in advance!
