I don't see how triple independent display is possible by using the outputs of the DZ87KLT-75K alone. The HDMI connection supports a single display, and the Thunderbolt connection (DSL3310: http://ark.intel.com/products/67022/Intel-DSL3310-Thunderbolt-Controller ) supports DisplayPort v1.1a, which is only capable of a single output, or a spanned / extended / cloned desktop over multiple displays by using a DisplayPort v1.1 hub:

If you look at the Dual / Triple display configurations for the Intel NUC series, the Intel DC3217BY contains the same Thunderbolt controller as well as the same video (HDMI v1.4a) / Thunderbolt outputs, and is only capable of dual display according to this chart: http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/CS-034199.htm
Table 3 here: http://downloadmirror.intel.com/22677/eng/DZ87KLT-75K_TechProdSpec02.pdf suggests that you could use the onboard HDMI connection in addition to a video card of your choice to enable multiple independent displays.
