Recovery method via USB drive and removing the BIOS jumper does not work. I've tried with different drives on different USB buses (front 3.0, rear 3.0, rear 2.0) and the result is always the same: The system reads the USB drive for several minutes, reboots, and then repeats the last two steps ad infinitum. Upon replacing the jumper and booting the system normally, the BIOS version has not changed and multiple new failed flash attempts are recorded in the BIOS event log. I've also tried the other methods again since my last post and it's the same result. Yes, I have taken other steps such as removing the CMOS battery. This board will simply not accept a BIOS update.
